It’s that time of the year again. The leaves are turning brilliant shades of yellow and orange and gently floating to the ground to become scooped into joyful piles for our children to play in. The birds are singing their last songs as they gather their harvest for the winter. (That is, if the squirrels left them anything.) And last but not least, the air is turning cold and crisp. We can all feel it… Holiday seasons are starting back up. Halloweens coming up quick and it’s time to start planning and purchasing our costumes. What will you be this year? You know you’ve been already thinking about it for a couple months now… Better yet, what will the kids be dressed up like? For me, this year is extra special because it’s my daughter’s first Halloween and we’re so excited to dress her up. It’s nearly impossible to decide what we’re going to put on her. Admittedly, she won’t get much joy out of it since she’s not old enough to eat candy or to enjoy the treat of dressing up once a year but hey, nothing beats those adorable pictures we get to keep forever.
A Couple Things To Consider Before You Dive In
- If you live where it’s sure to be cold, pick something nice and warm. Especially for babies, toddlers, and young children. They’re gonna have plenty of time to wear Princess dresses when they’re a little older and can withstand the cold better.
- Try to ensure a comfy outfit. Likewise, especially for the babies and toddlers. Don’t want to spend that money for them to not even make it an hour!
- For children that may be walking around in the dark, you may want to think light and bright to help ensure their safety.
Have a Happy Halloween! Babies: Toddlers: Kids:Heres pet costumes because I know they qualify as some peoples kids too. 😉 XoXo, MissJess
